Well, this is a social situation—a particular kind of social situation that is profitably distinguished from face-to-face meetings, but it’s a social situation nevertheless. Unless you believe us to be mere constructs. You clearly have a propensity to build prose that, perhaps knowingly, rubs others the wrong way, and this indicates some level of social deficiency.

The original Child of Wealth thread reminded me of an episode of the Cosby Show where Vanessa got into a fight with some kids who called her “rich girl.” Vanessa’s parents informed her that they were rich but that she had nothing, other than what they gave her. Too bad lindsay’s parents never had this conversation with her.
Just so you peons know who you are dealing with, I had my own bed, all to myself. So there.

We have an entire room more or less devoted to a giant rabbit. Well, and a computer. Hey, I got a laptop, and then like three years later I got a new one! And they were both Apples!

Since we’re all sharing our true feelings and tales of opulence, I’ll play along. I like linds, but every now and again I’ll be like, “Dude, where’d that come from?” But hell, I’ve dropped the unnecessary snide on people just because I was irritated. Whatevs - when you’re rich like me, you can pay people to take your abuse. I once went out to a pub and I dropped a $1 bill on the bar top after ordering a drink for myself, and was responded to with smiles and gratitude by the bartender. She offered me a refill as politely possible when I was done, and was kind to my friends and me the entire evening. You know why? Because when I left her that buck, she knew that I was finna throw down at least a 15% tip on the total tab. When you’re rich, you don’t need friends; you have sycophants.
I’ve worked really hard for what I’ve got, and despite the seemingly endless wealth that I have now, all of that hard work that led up to it has really kept me grounded.

In any event, it seems like a lot of folks are making with the absurd claims of wealth because they’re funny. I think we stopped pitting lindsay on page 2.
Be kind to her. Clearly she has low levels of comprehension and does not know the definition of social. (Hint: it doesn’t have to be in person or the only social interaction you have with other humans).
