Earl, please explain why you are posting all these links? You’re obviously not testing your ability to make links, and it’s a goddam headache for Moderators to check each one of 'em.
I’m sorry. Sometimes my links do not work, and I prefer to test them here first rather than embarass myself by posting a link that does not work.
When you post with a link use preview and test the link from the previewed post.
You know, you can also test them in preview, where you won’t be cluttering up a thread, and it also has the advantage that you only have to put in the link once (hence, no worries about accidentally doing it differently in the test and in the real thing).
A completely new forum could be set up to test links, a la Earl.
