Just curious, what are the statistics on annual lion attacks in Africa? I can’t find it on Google.
I found this paper (link is to abstract only), but it only discusses lion attacks in Tanzania (although it also mentions that Tanzania has the largest population of lions, so if you’re going to be attacked in the wild, that’s probably the most likely place).
Depends how many hit dice the lion has. It probably does a 1d6/1d6/2d8 claw-claw-bite routine.
I doubt very much that there are any compiled statistics on this for Africa as a whole. You may find some information on individual countries, but not for the whole continent.
