Sorry, I haven’t read though the whole thread, but my brother said he heard about attack by a male lion on a tiger which occurred in NYC in the 60s. It was during a circus mishap, and while they were able to get the rest of the big cats out of the ring, the two were left in.
He told me which one had won, but I can’t remember.

Exotic cats like lions and tigers are surprisingly cheap on the internet and legal to own in most of the U.S. I think I can pick up a lion and tiger cub combo for less than $2000. I will raise them under similar conditions as siblings and then let them have a forced death match when they are grown. It is an expensive experiment considering the food costs alone but one that has to be done. Chicken and dog fighting is illegal in the U.S. but this one should be fine as long as we keep it between ourselves. I have got $1000 on my tiger (who I will name Roy). Who else is with me here?

I always wanted a lion and/or tiger cub to call my own but I couldn’t ever mistreat an animal especially ones cute as those. I do like the idea about people wearing a lion and tiger mask though to fight this one out to settle the matter once and for all. That would make a kickass Youtube video but I am sure if that counts. What if I staged a bar fight between the two sides on Halloween? I dressed up as the cutest little tiger you ever saw when I was three.
