Schadenfreude…

For mounting?

There’s no accounting for taste.

The Circle of Life would be more appropriate.

ironically, it’s always open season on poachers.

Now, see, a lot of y’all are making light of this, but the truth is, lions have a lot of superstitious beliefs about poachers that are really out of place in the 21st century. For the record, eating the gall bladder of a poacher will NOT make your mane bigger and fluffier!

One can only hope they get to liking the taste.

The problem is that poachers don’t taste any different than the average human.

Since Cowboys have a distinct taste to their meat, it stand to reason that holds true for Poachers.
Most likely would require a different cooking technique.

That’s awful!
It should have been two poachers.

For some it may be better to live one day like a lion than a hundred years like the rest of us.

Perhaps…poached?

On this theme, I watched a BBC documentary last week. Part of the Storyville series.
It deals with the clash/overlap between conservation and big game trophy hunting. It makes for uncomfortable viewing but I found it fascinating. It does it without a voice-over and you are left to make your own mind up. I confess that after watching it I remain conflicted about many aspects but two things are certain. Watching a shot elephant slowly breath its last is heartbreaking and some people probably do deserve to find themselves on the pointy end of an angry rhino.

Note, the BBC doc is on the iplayer so probably not available to our worldwide friends but it may be re-broadcast and those who are in the UK would probably “enjoy” it (where “enjoy” is an entirely unsuitable word but you know what I mean)

Do you prefer your hunters fried, over easy, or poached?
