Lip Balm Addicts Anonymous.

I use lip balm maybe a couple of times a month in the summer, but in the winter… I just go and buy huge numbers of Carmex tubes, figuring that that’s the only way to make sure that I can find one when it’s late at night and my lips are on fire. I prefer Carmex because it tastes terrible, so I don’t lick it off.

Crap!!! I forgot my chapstick this morning!!! I’m stuck in class and wont be going home until late tonight!!

I Am Going to Die.

I used to be very addicted to it, but have been able to break some/most of that addiction, which means I rarely have to carry it anymore. The key was to use KY ‘lube’, it somehow re-started my own natural way to preventing chapped lips.

YMMV

Huh. I keep a tin of Burt’s Bees lip balm in my pocket where it stays nice and soft, but that’s pretty much it – I used to use Chapstick, but a few years ago I started breaking out when I used it, so I switched.

And I slop some Vaseline on before bed so that it works overnight – works a treat.
