I really enjoyed Lisa Turner’s first book a couple years ago. She lived in Memphis most of her life and has a flair for describing that city and its people.

She’s bringing back Detective Billy Able for a 2nd book. Another great police mystery.

I hope this is a start of a long and successful series. Turner reminds me of Raymond Chandler. She’s got that ear for describing characters and their class and culture.
