List 3 women you think could be president of the US

Ivanka Trump

I’m serious.

My prediction is that Donald Trump will not run for re-election in 2020. He will cite his age and wanting to at long last, begin his retirement. He’ll also say that he’s accomplished everything he’s ever set out to do and there is no need to run for four more years. He’ll never admit it but I imagine the stress of the job will have gotten to him by then.

I think he’s already grooming Ivanka as the heir apparent. He’ll woo his supporters by telling them they’re still get to vote for a Trump and he’ll serve as some sort of top adviser. The Trumpling boys will fall in line since they’ve long accepted that Ivanka is the apple of daddy’s eye.

And she very well might win.

You heard it here first.

Sarah Palin?

Tulsi Gabbard
Condi Rice
Mia Love

Really? The first sentence of the OP seemed to indicate that Hillary was an obvious answer. Arguing against that is no different than Lemur866 arguing against Condi Rice.

Anyone who thinks Oprah would not be a better president than Trump needs a reality check.

She’ll give everyone a new car.

Considering who is actually the president right now, I think the next three women I see would all be qualified as well or better qualified.

Supposedly to run for governor of Maine. She is only 64, which is an acceptable age for a president.

Tammy Duckworth (D)
Shelley Moore Capito ®
Gina Raimondo (D)

Condolezza is da man.

Elizabeth Warren is too old.

Ivanka Trump has what qualifications to be President? Plus, I think having a pardon will be a cloud.

Doesn’t really look like qualifications are needed to be President any more, does it?

I’ve always said my dream Republican ticket would be Colin Powell and Condi Rice. I could get behind a Rice presidential run.

Duckworth, Harris, Collins, and Warren.

I don’t get the Condi love among Republicans. I think it’s just a matter of “hey, look at us! We don’t hate blacks! We don’t hate women! We got ourselves a gen-you-wine black woman that we’d vote for!” Except that if she actually ran, they’d primary the snot out of her.

There is no shortage of qualified women. We may even have a binder full.

Kamala Harris
Elizabeth Warren
Tammy Duckworth
Debbie Stabenow
Kathleen Sebelius

to name just a few. Unfortunately, Canadian-born Jennifer Granholm doesn’t qualify.

I think Harris and Warren are two of the leading candidates on the Democratic side. Duckworth has a shot, but is probably second tier. On the Republican side I think Haley is probably the main female candidate, but not as high up there as H & W.

I seriously think there are probably 50 million women in this country who are more qualified to be president than Trump. Grab some random woman off the street and make her president and she’ll be better. My wife’s cleaning lady woud be better (and she barely speaks English).

Because if you don’t know the slightest thing about being president, but appreciate that fact and let yourself be guided by people who do, you can’t go far wrong. People who think they know what they’re doing and don’t are much much worse.

Before the Obamacare-rollout fiasco, I would’ve said Kathleen Sebelius - smart, telegenic, and a Democrat who could get elected in conservative Kansas. But I’m afraid she’s damaged goods now.

There are younger, shinier Democratic women candidates out there, but for now I’ll say:

Yeah, I no reed gud las nite. my apologies.

I can’t even think of three men who could successfully pull off the charade of appearing to be a competent president of the US. Nor of actually administering the mess that the federal governance has become.

COULD win? Lots. Hillary DID win the popular vote. Among women who could make successful runs…
Nikki Haley
Kamala Harris
Nancy Pelosi (nobody is better at raising money)

I’m inclined to think that any woman (or man) could be president, provided they were decent human beings and had the guts to say no to the party hacks.

Women Ive known who rose through the ranks in the private sector all seemed to have one thing in common. The ability to step on people without remorse. That seems to be a trait that is more prevalent among successful women than men. Not the kind of people I want in the White House.

Conspiracy theorists love her. You might not think that’s important, but then you probably didn’t think Donald Trump would become president.
