Iron Man has a short clip after the credits, so does X-Men 3.
btw i find that a good hint on whether there are extra stuff after the credit rolls is if they turn on all the lights.
All three Pirates movies.
Daredevil
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Cloverfield (audio clip)
Genie In A String Bikini
Early Pixar movies always had out-takes and the such like buried in the credits.
I wouldnt know about extra stuff in the credits if I didnt read it online; I’m usually in the car fifty seconds after the picture ends.
It does annoy me though, when you have to wait till the very, VERY end, instead of not long after the credits start rolling. There was extra scenes in Transformers and Daredevil, that you would catch as you walked out of the screen. Perfect. This thing of hanging around for ten minutes while the cleaning crew shoot you filthy looks? Not so great.
Semi-Pro. (audio)
Does Ferris Bueller’s Day Off count?
One of the first movies I remember that did something like this was Young Sherlock Holmes.
The Muppet Movie
[Animal] Go home!! [/Animal]
The remake of Dawn of the Dead. I stopped watching as soon as the credits started. Didn’t know it wasn’t over until my daughter told me, a couple days later. “But I liked that ending!”
Priscilla Queen Of The Desert has an interesting little denouement that rolls after the credits. It’s not much, just something to send away the audience with one more smile.
Wild Things threw in a bunch of “deleted scenes” from the movie into the credits, presumably trying to fill in the confusing gaps in the regular feature.
I seem to recall The Simpsons Movie adding dialogue during the credits, too.
Besides those mentioned
**Adventures in Babysitting
The Howling** (clip from The Wolfman )
Constantine - I loved the extra scene.
Kiki’s Delivery Service
Gremlins II
Being There
Walk Hard
Airplane does, and perhaps the Naked Gun movies as well.
Amazon Women on the Moon. It’s a pretty long one, too.
Unlike the OP, I find that whether the house lights come on or not is not a good indicator that the movie has something after the credits. Most theaters around here turn the lights up immediately as the credits begin, and cranky youths with brooms will stand in the aisles giving lingering patrons the evil eye. (A couple of times I’ve even had a surly broom-wielder say something to me like “the movie’s over, you can leave now,” even for films that were widely known to contain scenes during/after credits.) Other theaters simply don’t turn the lights up until the reel’s completely run, even if the credits are the only thing to play.
Napoleon Dynamite features Kip and LaFwanda’s wedding scene.
I understand the scene was supposed to be placed somewhere at the end of the film but never really worked in any one particular slot and would have disrupted the ensuing instrumental denoument.
i don’t seem to recall watching any extra scenes for any of Miyazaki’s shows… hmm, good excuse to go watch them again.
alot of Jackie Chan shows have outtakes as well.
What movie was that?
Masters of the Universe…yes I watched until after the credits
What was after AiB? I find myself stumped!
