List of things NOT to do while 36 weeks pregnant.

Hah, I wish! No, I think they were mostly just too low-slung, and when my belly went out in front, they wouldn’t hook on my hips anymore to stay up like they did pre-pregnancy.

Ahh - that makes sense! I tend to wear a more trouser type style of jean that comes a bit higher so the band has more to grip onto I guess.

Ms. Robin, I’m actually not having any trouble with the shaving thing. Even my nether regions are getting a once over, although I can’t really inspect to make sure I haven’t missed anything. However, I’m not planning on wearing swimwear (as per my OP) so I guess if I miss a spot or two it’s ok.

Ah yes, you’ve just reminded me of the 45 min I spent contorted on the floor of my shower with a hand mirror and a razor ensuring that my legs were shaved the night before I went into hospital to have irishbaby. It wouldn’t actually have been that bad, but Irishfella kept banging on the door every couple of minutes to check that I wasn’t stuck in a weird position, in labour or concussed.

The bikini line was outsourced to the beauty parlour along with the mani-pedi and facial (yet more things I somehow haven’t managed to find time for since). In hindsight I can’t think why I didn’t have her wax my legs too.

?? I must say, it’s got to be the longish legs and years of yoga, 'cus the whole shaving thing just hasn’t presented much of a problem.

Painting my toe nails has become a bit of a challenge, but even that has been manageable.

Waterbeds! I had one when pregnant and it was a hard sided one. I had to sleep on the couch because I thought I would get trapped in it.
