List the MLB stadiums you've been to

Casually having this conversation over the weekend, I was astonished by the number of major league parks I’ve actually been to.

Here’s my list:
[ul]
[li]Busch Stadium[/li][li]New Busch Stadium[/li][li]Wrigley[/li][li]Old Comiskey[/li][li]New Comiskey[/li][li]Arlington Stadium[/li][li]Ballpark in Arlington[/li][li]The Stick[/li][li]Pac Bell[/li][li]Oakland Coliseum[/li][li]Chez Ravine[/li][li]Jack Murphy[/li][li]Petco[/li][li]Fenway[/li][li]Kingdome[/li][li]Safeco[/li][li]Astrodome[/li][li][del]TenRun Field[/del] Minute Maid Park[/li][/ul]

That is all. Seems like a lot but I’ve barely scratched the surface. Also strange that 7 are either demolished or not used for baseball anymore (feeling old).

Yours?

Yankee Stadium
Shea (Mets)
Fenway (my most recent)
Wrigley (Cubs)
Angel Stadium of Anaheim
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
U.S. Cellular Field (White Sox)
Chavez Ravine (Dodgers)
Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Jack Murphy Stadium (was San Diego)
Veterans Stadium (was the Phillies)

Just a visit, concert or football game
The Oakland Coliseum
Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (Twins)
Tropicana Field (Tampa)
Candlestick Park (Was the Giants)
Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium (Was the Senator in DC)
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (Dodgers)

I have been to the sight of both Hilltop Park (Where the Yank’s started as the Highlanders) and the Polo Grounds.

I need to get to Citizens Bank Park in Philly next.

Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium (Braves)
Turner Field (Braves)
Riverfront Stadium (Reds)
Three Rivers Stadium (Pirates)
Shea Stadium (Mets)
Fenway Park (Red Sox)
Wrigley Field (Cubs)
Busch Stadium (Cardinals)
Oakland-Alameda County Stadium (A’s)
Comiskey Park (new) (White Sox)
Chavez Ravine (Dodgers)
Mile High Stadium (Rockies)
Coors Field (Rockies)
Candlestick Park (Giants)
Kingdome (Mariners)
Jack Murphy Stadium (Padres)

Jacob’s Field and The one in Cincinnati…Riverfront Stadium?

Wrigley Field
Qualcomm Stadium (née Jack Murphy)–former stadium of Padres
RFK Stadium–former stadium of Nationals

Tiger Stadium
Comerica Park
Wrigley Field
U.S. Cellular Field
RFK Stadium
Not too impressive.

You got me by a country mile.

Yankee Stadium
Shea Stadium
Vets Stadium (Phillies)
Great American Ball Park (Reds)
Busch Stadium (Cardinals)
Dodger Stadium
Petco Park (Padres)

But in two weeks I get the Rogers Centre (Blue Jays) and this summer I get Wrigley, Kauffman (Royals) and Coors Field (Rockies).

I’ve been to a great many minor-league parks as well. But the key is to “see America” as much as possible before HSHGF realizes that the only America we’re seeing has ballparks in it.

Funny, my husband just asked me this question yesterday. When he heard the answer, he laughed at me. Because my answer was:

  1. Wrigley Field
  2. Comiskey Park

That’s it. I never even saw the old Comiskey…never went to a Sox game until I was an adult (die-hard Cubs family).

I need to get out more.

I don’t travel much, so:

Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium
Turner Field
Yankee Stadium (Vs. Baltimore, only non Braves game I’ve seen in person)

In some cases I don’t have the most current corporate name:

Skydome/Rogers Centre (Toronto)
Exhibition Stadium (Toronto)
Stade Olympique (Montreal)
Pacific Bell Park (San Fran)
Angels Stadium (Anaheim)
Dodger Stadium (LA)
New Comiskey (Chicago)
Bank One Ballpark (Phoenix)
Turner Field (Atlanta)
Tiger Stadium (Detroit)
Comerica Park (Detroit)
Metrodome (Minnesota)
Oakland Coliseum (duh)
Miller Park (Milwaukee)
Shea Stadium (New York)
Petco Park (San Diego)

The best so far as either San Fran or Petco.

The worst, by fifty light years, was Montreal. It was ghastly. The worst that’s still in the majors is the Metrodome, with Oakland ahead of it only because it’s not a dome.

Yankee Stadium (New York Yankees)
Connie Mack Stadium (Philadelphia Phillies)
Shea Stadium (New York Mets)
Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox)
Turner Field (Atlanta Braves)
Olympic Stadium (Montreal Expos)
Riverfront Stadium (Cincinnati Reds)
Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati Reds)

Oh my God, Connie Mack has been closed 38 years. Damn, I’m old.

Candlestick (Giants)
Oakland-Alameda County (A’s)
RFK (Senators)
Memorial (Orioles)
Kaufmann (Royals)
Arlington - the old one (Rangers)
Wrigley (Cubs)
Fenway (Red Sox)
Exhibition (Blue Jays)
Mile High (Rockies)
Coors (Rockies)

I’ll add Busch (Cardinals) to the list sometime this summer.

Wrigley Field
Busch Stadium (old)
Busch Stadium (new)
Kauffman Field

I’ve never lived in a place where I could easily go to a MLB game and rarely did we go to one during family vacations. I think the only two games I’ve seen were in Qualcomm when the Padres were still playing there and Mile High before Coors Field was built.

I haven’t been to that many, but I actually did see a game at the Polo Grounds: an exhibition between the Yankees and the Mets before the Mets moved to Shea.

Besides that:

Yankee Stadium
Shea
Fenway
Memorial Stadium (Baltimore)
Camden Yards (Baltimore)
RFK Stadium (Washington), an exhibition game by the Orioles in the late 1980s
Mile High Stadium, Denver, in about 1978 when it was a minor league park.

I’m hoping to see a game at Dodgers Stadium later this week.

Wrigley
Fenway
Comiskey
Kaufmann
Coors
Minute Maid

In the order in which I first attended them:

Cleveland Stadium (former home of the Indians)
Riverfront Stadium (former home of the Reds)
Three Rivers Stadium (former home of the Pirates)
Jacobs Field (current home of the Indians)
Tiger Stadium (former home of the Tigers)
Milwaukee County Stadium (former home of the Brewers)
Wrigley Field (home of the Cubs)
‘New’ Comiskey Park or whatever it’s called now (home of the White Sox)
Great American Ballpark (current home of the Reds)
PNC Park (current home of the Pirates)
Fenway Park (Red Sox)

Dodger Stadium
Wrigley
Fenway
Yankee Stadium
New Comiskey (fuck, I had the opportunity to go to old Comiskey but did not have the fascination with classic stadiums that I have now.)
Shea
Oakland Coliseum
Coors Field.
Angel Stadium
Candlestick Park
Pac Bell. or whatever they call it now.

I tried to go to the old Tiger Stadium before it closed, but i couldn’t get any one to go. I had the chance to go and see the Dodgers at the Coliseum this year, but stupidly did not go.

Shea
Yankee Stadium
Veteran’s
Candlestick
PacBell (the one in SF, whatever it is these days)
Camden Yards
RFK
Astrodome

Morbo, you should treat yourself to a trip to NYC this year.

The family’s had season tics for the Rangers ever since Arlington Stadium was first built, so the lion’s share of games were there. Row 1 between visitor’s dugout and warm-up circle, so a couple of yards from George Brett, Bo Jackson, Derek Jeeter, etc.
