Monroe was from “My World and Welcome To it.” I was the only fan of the show.
I was the only other one.
And Shakes makes three. Among the James-Thurber character quotes that live forever: “I hate women, they know where things are”.
William Windom is still with us -woo hoo!
Kids, when you start to get old, check out the Night Gallery episode, “They’re Tearing Down Tim Riley’s Bar”.
Previously I DID nominate the entire cast of Married With Children, but Al Bundy is The Man.
William Windom is one of those guys that should have been a giant, instead of just a character actor. It broke my heart seeing him play second fiddle to Angela Lansbury, (moreso to see him mouthing that inane dialogue) but, OTOH, good to know that he could find a job!
hh
Wasn’t William Windom the other captain who took over the Enterprise in that space-funnel-of-death episode? He did a memorable job.

My god! all these years I’ve forgotten about Herman’s Head and how much I loved that show.
Got to see if it’s on DVD.
Thanks for the reminder, middleman!
