Ellie Mae Klampett ( What–No love for the Beverly Hillbillies?)
Lillith Sternin Crane (Cheers and Frasier)
Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory)
Dr. Perry Cox (Scrubs)
Rose Nyland (The Golden Girls)
Dr. Perry Cox
Rev. Jim Ignatowski
Mork
Hawkeye Pierce
The Fonz - (He’s so iconic it’s easy to forget how good his character was in the beginning of Happy Days)
Jack Donaghy, 30 Rock. Just seeing him in the into brings me pure joy.
Rudy Huxtable, The Cosby Show. The most adorable little girl ever, a great kid actor, and she got a lot of good story lines. I love the episode where Cliff lets her stay up all night on a school night.
Jerri Blank, Strangers with Candy. I love it that Amy Sedaris was willing to be so completely ugly inside and out for this character.
Elaine Benes, Seinfeld. I’m always impressed by the small choices Julia Louis-Dreyfus made with Elaine - facial expressions, hand gestures, messing with props. She’s hilarious when she goes big, too. I love when she’s frantically trying to get that guy out of bed so he can make his flight.
G.O.B. Bluth, Arrested Development. Largely because of the Segway.
Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties
Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell
Perry Cox from Scrubs
Barney Stinson from *How I Met Your Mother *
Frasier Crane from Frasier(not Cheers)
Yes, I know that The Rockford Files was nowhere near being a sitcom, but there were times, I am sure you will agree, that it played like one. 'Nuff said.
** The British show that was ripped off to create the very much inferior Three’s Company, a virtual travesty of the original.
