Now excuse me – I’m off to GD to debate some people who think that using the original text of the Constitution to divine its meaning is silly, because people who wrote the words so long ago had no idea what our actual national policy should be today.
Damn. If only the Constitution’s authors had been poets instead of elected officials, I could win that argument, huh?
