Fermentation time seems to be exactly two weeks. Yesterday, after a run and a shower, the nose pearl made its first May appearance.

Ooh, nose pearl necklace. I’d be following a family tradition if I did that. My Uncle George had his gallstones polished and made into a necklace which he presented to my Aunt Lois on their anniversary.
Needless to say, half of my family is from Oklahoma.
