Little MSWord help here?

I told my boss I’d be able to put serial numbers on these fliers (there’s a coupon; he hates coupons). I know there’s a way to do this in Word, I’ve done it before. But it’s been years, and I’m too tired to keep combing through Help. Can someone remind me how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Figured it out, though it seems clumsy; I remember it being easier. Any pointers still appreciated.

Just use page numbers. If you don’t want them to start at 1, set them to start at 10000.

If the coupon is smaller than one sheet of paper, set the page size to how big you want the couple to be (say, 2" x 3") then use the [print mulitple pages on one sheet] feature to put 10, or 20 or whatever on a single sheet & cut them apart after they’re printed.

That’s one way—the traditional way is using the SEQ field code, which isn’t that hard. This page gives a fairly decent explanation.
