live action dora the explorer movie

I watched the trailer with the sound off. Does anyone say “Swiper, NO SWIPING!”? And if so, how effective can it be without EVERYONE IN THE THEATER helping?

And if not, how can it really be Dora?

Having watched a few thousand hours of Dora, or at least it was on in the background, the trailer doesn’t look horrible. If my twins aren’t too grown up or think it’s retro, then we might even go see it.

Dora the explora causes uproara.

That actually looks interesting.

This is truth. And if they do in fact do both in the movie, I’m gonna go see it for sure!

There’s another trailer at Dora Trailer July 2019 where at 0:04 there’s a great in-character joke. Having watched the cartoon show with my kids, the joke actually made me laugh. The pauses in the show irritated my daughter - just get on with it!

She looked very young at the segment, so her looking more grown up later in the trailer could be a signal to my daughter (who now has a her own young daughter) that this is not he old Dora, it’s better! She did indeed “grow out of it”.

Danny Trejo hadn’t looked that cute since he was a preschooler
