How does one tell a real Livestrong yellow bracelet from fake one?

I’ve heard that there are a bunch of knock offs flooding the market and no portion of the price is actually donated to cancer research.

I’ve also heard that one way of distinguishing a real one from a fake one is that only the real ones are made in the USA, the ones made elsewhere (China?) are fakes. Any truth to that? A quick search on Google only mentioned buying from “authorized” dealers.

I bought mine from wearyellow.com which I believe is the official site. It says “Made in China.”

This is an amazing advance in knockoff marketing. Selling for more than the genuine article.
