Local TV & Radio: Stop Pimping the Powerball

On the radio and TV here in Tennessee, we keep getting exhorted to buy those powerball lottery tickets and buy them early and avoid the rush.

Shaddup, already. I’ve decided I’ll buy used tickets the day after tomorrow, one cent each. They will be much cheaper, and my odds of winning will be about the same.

State lotteries buy a lot of advertising on commercial stations and, well, the stations gotta pay the bills somehow…
