I just read the history of Logan Squre. Evrery interesting.
Whrn I was about 8 years in 1939, or so, my Mother always shopped at the LoganSqure depeertment store, we made the trip almost every week, for many years , as I remember.
But there no mention of the store in the history.
Can you tell any thing about it’s start and when it closed?
I use to love going there. The odor of all the fresh foods and the meat in the basement was something I always like going into. It may well be why I became a meatcutter for 40+ years.
