Lula Cafe

So this forum made me think about my favorite place to eat in Chicago, the Lula Cafe. I went over to their website to see what was new on their menu, and-- THE WEBSITE IS NOT THERE!

Someone please tell me that their brick and mortar business has not suffered the same fate.

Oh wait, I just spelled “cafe” wrong in the web address. Never mind.
Anyone else like Lula? Eat there recently?

Lula’s still around, and still as tasty as ever (one of my favorite places in Chicago). I assume you’re talking about the one in Logan Square, right?

I went to their website and it’s still there! http://www.lulacafe.com/

Are we talking about different Lulas?

ETA: I missed the first line of your second post, Happy. Sorry.

Anyway, yeah. Every time I’m back in Chicago I stay in Logan. So, I’m there with a magazine for breakfast and way too much Intelligentsia. Recently I’ve had the strada and the brioche French toast. Have you been there for breakfast?

Just down the street from me.

I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had there, but sometimes they really seem push the limits on what kind of wacky ingredients can we put in this dish.
