Women - Does anyone else pull long hairs (in my case, my own) out of their anoos?

My little dogs and occasionally a cat now and then have this happen so I have to pull one of my long hair out of their butts. Literally, whereas I only pull one figuratively (since it’s by and not from) from my butt at least twice a week (while doing a wipe and/or a shower). Swallowing a foot or more hair is something we humans tend to gag and spit where a pet just keeps swallowing.
I feel sorry for my dogs because they know something is there but all the straining in the world doesn’t push the last 2 or 3 inches of hair out. And that’s when I put on my big girl pantys and gently pull the rest out of their bums. Gently because I have thick/coarse hair so have to worry about it cutting whether the dogs’ intestines or my own nether regions.
With the pets I give them crap for eating food (or perceived food) from off the ground which is how they ingest my hair. They don’t listen. /Charlie Brown’s teacher’s voice/
My hair has killed vacuum cleaner beater bar belts, been woven into clothes and found in our dinner … but as far I know no one in the (human) family has ever pooped out one of them.

Reminds me of a cat I had, back in the '80s. He was experiencing emotional distress, and cracked open an audio cassette and ate the tape. For several days I was cutting off pieces of tape as it slowly emerged from his anus.

Had a cat back in the 70s that did the same thing with a leather shoelace from a pair of slippers.
I’ll be the first to take this thread seriously and say yes, this happens to me occasionally. Sometimes I’ve even vomited clumps of hair. I don’t have a habit of nibbling my hair, so I suspect I do so in my sleep. Moreover, the frequency tends to go up the less i eat.

But I did have a cat running around the house a couple months ago, acting very disconcerted about something. It was a poo nugget hanging by a hair and the cat was trying to get away from the poo.

How are you made aware that the hair needs pulled out as opposed to naturally expelling it via bm? Is there a tickle or something?
