The Re-reboot currently going on “Lost In Legion:Voyager” is so bad, that I’ve dropped the book this issue after 27 or so consecutive years of buying Legion. Bleagh.

Fav. story: Adventure #269-270, first Mordru
Worst Legionaire: Sneckie
Worst Costume: there’ve been so many! Maybe the Karate Kid & Projectra costumes from the Action Comics run. Laurel Gand’s poncho is pretty lame and so’s Cosmic Boy’s Peek-a-boo leather-like costume.
Worst period/era: Now. Legion Lost and the stuff leading up to it.
Hanofer - I’ve seen your archive site before, have to admit I’m not a big fan of fanfic.
Fenris -
Fav Story - The first dozen or so issues of the 5 year later thing, (although each time I read it, the Watchmen ripoffs scream a litter louder) - It left me with the same feelings I had picking up the LSH (Around Annual #1) - a big backstory waiting to be discovered. In the course of those issues, two universes were destroyed (the final death knell of the Superboy legion, and in one issue-created and destroyed the Mordruverse). I’m also very fond of the Annual #1 (First new Invisible Kid), Great Darkness, and the Starlin Computo stuff (Have back issues back to the first Superboy appearances, right after Action) so I’ve read about as much as you have.
Worst Legionnaire - Thru Levitz, most of them had a good story or two, never cared for Tellus or Quislet, but picking them is almost a cop out, I’ll say that wishy washy Colossal Boy or kept man Star Boy. (Sneckie is the snake projectra right? I quit when I realized they were going to deviate from the canon) Did you know that Keith Giffen was going to basically reboot the legion after LSH v4 #4? And that Kurt Busiek wanted to do a similar thing, but both were to follow (save for Mon El/Valor as Superboy) the main chronology already laid out.
Worst Costume - That Duo Damsel thing with the thigh high boots, Cosmic Boy’s push up bra/girdle combo, Timber Wolf with the spikes on his belt.
Worst Period - Re-Reboot, bad, so very bad, some decent concepts squeezed into too few issues, also, although I would never say that the older stories were made meaningless by it, I felt as if the characters I had known for 15+ years were gone.

-Ultra Boy, the juvenile delinquent of the Legion. (With honorable mention to Karate Kid, the guy with no powers who could still take down Superboy)

-can’t choose. Imra and Garth are THE classic Legion couple, but Mon-El and Shady always seemed a little more … adult (or real or something) and you have to give Duo Damsel and Bouncing Boy credit for sticking together through thick and thin. And let’s not get started on the tragedy of Karate Kid and Projectra.
Best Legion artist
-Grell will always be my sentimental favorite. He made the future seem so cool. After he left, there was an artist in the late '70s or early '80s who had a beautiful way of rendering reflections and shiny surfaces – did great stuff with Star Boy and Dream Girl’s costumes.
Favorite Era
-The first year or two of Giffen/Bierbaum’s “five years later” story. Yeah, it was a poor man’s Watchmen, but it was still a bold concept with interesting characters.
Re-reboot
-I can’t keep up with the starts and re-starts anymore, so I don’t know what you mean by re-reboot. I do like the Legion Lost stories and art. I didn’t like the stories for a couple of years before that. Bland.

Worst Legionaire?
-Matter-Eater Lad, although he has been used to good comedic effect in recent years.
Worst Legion costume?
-Everything Cosmic Boy has ever worn. Phantom Girl’s white, bell-bottomed pantsuit with the cut-outs running down her chest. Element Lad’s recent black costume.
Worst period?
-When “five years later” petered out and they couldn’t come up with any better plot than blowing up the earth or having the Legion go on the run and change their names.
