If you look at the linked thread, you will see that posts 11 & 12 are blank posts by me. Except that they are not. If you click “reply with quote” you will see what I posted. Preview also showed what I posted.
Apparantly the post goes into the data base, but when the board software tries to generate the HTML, it generates nothing. Shorter posts don’t seem to have this issue.
What the heck?

It’s a known (by some of us 
) bug wherein if a /quote is missing in a post of over a certain (unknown) length, the post appears blank.

I’ll add that the /quote should not include the user name.
Right, I had this happen to me in GD, but the Mod (bless his heart) fixed it.
Aw, that’s what I get for not going and looking at the coding; I just assumed the worst.
