A friend was visiting Dallas and had his car stolen last night from his hotel. It is a bright yellow 2001 Acura Integra Type R, with a JDM front clip. The car had MS plates on it, and some kind of tuner rims.
I know it’s a long shot, but if anyone in the area sees this car we’d appreciate a call to the Garland TX police.

Car thieves suck. Anyone who wonders why they used to hang horse thieves back in the day has never had or known someone who has had their car ripped.
What’s a JDM front clip?
Japanese Domestic Market. They get better motors/transmissions for their cars than we normally import into the US. A front clip is basically everything from the firewall forward.

Also it looks different. The standard Integra front end has four round headlights. The JDM front end has rectangularish headlights. It also has a big Honda emblem on it.

Well… the car was found. Missing the engine, transmission, interior and front cap.

Well, the funny thing is, dude says a lot of the stuff he had put on the car was still there, and it would be worth his while to buy it back from the insurance company. The suspension, for one thing.
Hah smee - my son has a black one, and they are difficult to get in & out of. Ya might get a 350-lb man in one, but I dunno if you could get him back out.
