OMG! I’m sorry as I know it isn’t right to bump ones own threads but I just saw the sticky “In Memoriam”. I am so sorry to see SDMB members that have past. Both poohpah chalupa and Persephone were prolific when I was here last. They will be missed. All those that are no longer with us will be but I am beside myself.

Do what I did, and read Threadspotting. All of them. By the time you’re done, you’ll have a rough idea of what the major memes are.
One change: we eliminated the initiation rituals. Instead, we have ice cream. Oftentimes it is home-made.
