Tufted titmouse

Wild turkey
Crow
Raven

Possible song sparrow
I have no window in my office. However, I was at lunch about an hour ago and I was parked near a bayou. I looked out my passenger window and saw two pairs of ducks came up from the bayou and each pair proceeded to mate enthusiastically right there in front of me. It was hilarious! The males kept walking in circles all over the females, stepping on their heads and backs with their silly webbed feet. The females didn’t seem to mind too much. When they were done, they straightened their feathers and waddled over to the dumpster behind the Dairy Queen to see what they could scavenge there. I came to MPSIMS to post my mundane, pointless stories about seeing a bunch of ducks getting it on, and here was this thread. Quack! I seem to have located Duck-spiration Point.
That was a good one.
Thanks for the sightings everyone. Unless an owl shows up, I’m done for the night. The other side of the world can take over.
Not a damned one. Not even one of those pesky seagulls that sometimes peck on my window looking for handouts. The gal who used to work in my spot would give 'em cookies. Not me, dammit.
Um. . . currently. . . some ravens and crows and seagulls. . . some juncos. . . I hear a chickadee (probably chestnut-backed). A great blue heron flew by, and there’s a jardine’s parrot napping in the corner of the room.
1 Morning Dove sitting on a pole in a vulture posture. It has that disjointed neck thing going on.
1 Black colored little bird I can’t remember the name of.
Better viewing now. The snow is white, and the sun shining bright.
2 - Male Cardinals Flaming bright orange red
1 - Female Cardinal
7 Morning Doves in an apple tree.
2 - Little black bird of unknown species. I need the misplaced bird book.
2 Sparrows.
10 full squadrons of Canadian Geese too stupid or too content to bother with flying south for the winter. Either that, or where they came from was even colder!
I’m on the ninth floor of an office tower. If there are any birds out there, they’re too far away to identify.
Your on the ninth floor and don’t have binocuars. How do you watch people in the park or other buildings.
None.
Generally there are 3 that can be seen.
Out the front (a busy street)… pigeons.
Out the back (alley with dumpsters)… crows, pigeons and the occasional sea gull.
If you hadn’t noticed, this neighbourhood sucks for bird watching.
No parks other than the postage stamp one on the other side of the building and the only nearby buildings visibile from my window are little rental car places.
