I’m looking for stories where a man stalks a woman, thinking he’s watching/protecting her…
I’m mostly interested in novels/short stories, but any other medium is of interest too–movies, music, plays, etc.
I’m not looking for comedies though, or two-dimensional horror-type stories… I’m thinking of a kinda Don Quichotte character…

Since you’ve included music in the list, how about “Every breath you take” by the band Police. Unless I have missed something, it has always seemed to me as the ultimate stalker song.
