Looking for a dachshund poster

In the late-'80s a coworker had a poster in his office. The poster was a black-and-white photograph that looked like it was taken in the '30s or '40s, or it may have been a contemporary photo shot as a period piece. A man resembling W.C. Fields (it may have been W.C. Fields, but I don’t remember) is sitting in a chair. In his hands he holds a huge sandwich made of a large loaf of French bread (or a bun) with a dachshund inside. The man’s mouth is agape, and he is just about ready to take a bite.

Sound familiar? Does anyone have a link to an image of it?

This is similar to what you’re describing, though taken decades after the 1930s, obviously.

Yes. Exactly the same idea, except for the bizarre costume. The character in the poster I saw was attired normally for the period (or depicted period). ISTR the sandwich was angled more toward the camera.

And even more current. And cuter.

My dachshund smells like prosciutto. Just saying.
