I’m looking for a music forum, but not just any–more pertaining to experimental, cultural and science-y aspects such as perception or anthropolgy, ethnomusicology type of stuff.
Anyone can give me any tips on where to go?
Thanks,
Serina

Music is no “universal language,” but musical behavior is almost universally recognizable as such, and can be appreciated on at least some level without formal tuition…In this way, music is both universal and culture-specific at the same time: universal in terms of the way its musical sounds and gestures articulate with the body; yet culturally specific in many syntatical, formal, timbral or technical aspects.

I would like to know you. I just learned, like, 8 new words.
Anyway.
I’m an avid supporter of livejournal communities. I haven’t really found a purer blog out there, and many of the people I have come across have always been genuine and seemingly more connected than most other net comm’s I have experienced.

I hope these help. I haven’t followed any of them, so I do not know their value, but maybe they will turn out to be enjoyable.
What bucket? I have no idea what you’re talking about.
I have to admit, those links I gave you, after looking through them. Suck.
Uhh, I guess I just got a little excited about answering. Anyway, I’m gonna go try and find something better. Maybe wash up a bit.
