Looking for a particular TVTrope

I’m not sure this is a TVTrope, as I haven’t ever seen it, but it sounds like it should be one. Is there one for when a very stolid, unemotional person (think Daria or Lilith from Cheers/Frasier) does experience a mood swing but does so in a typically stoic manner? Usually they’ll say something like “Sorry, I didn’t mean to get so choked up”–the joke being they didn’t really.

It’s one I’ve seen before, but I’ve never seen it on TVTropes.

Seems to me like a sub-type of the Stoic, maybe a Stoic Woobie?

Or perhaps a bit of Kuudere crossed with a dash of Stiff Upper Lip?

None of those are quite right, though, as my read on them doesn’t have them being used for comedic effect, other than Stiff Upper Lip, on occasion.

Amy used to do this all the time on Big Bang Theory. She’s loosened up a lot since she started hanging around with Penny and Bernadette.
