I am looking for a portfolio - preferably leather - that is different than the usual ones. Usually they are designed to carry legal pads
I want one to carry composition books
Has anyone ever seen one of these?
As it happens, I was in Staples looking for just that very thing a few months ago. For $40 or so, I could have gotten a nice leather binder for a letter-size notebook – but nothing for composition books. (I finally settled for a big ole $10 Globe-Weis accordion folio made of some kind of rubberized cardboard, with loadsa plastic pockets for pens, newspapers, etc. etc.)
I like CBs because the marble hardbacks make them handsome, durable and easy to carry, and – well – 'cause I like them. I wish they weren’t all childish-scrawl ruled on cheap paper, though; I use fountain pens, and write kinda small.
