Looking for a scented candle

I don’t really know what other category this could go in other than MPSIMS, but if someone has a better suggestion, please move the thread.

I am looking for a candle that I bought once in Washington state…either in Silverdale or near Seattle. I want to say it was in a smallish mall near Seattle, not at Kitsap Mall in Silverdale but I have been to several malls in the area and simply cannot remember. I am giving out as many details here as I can remember because I cannot describe the scent, nor is it something easily recognizable by name alone.

The candles I purchased were in a store that specialized in candles and I think incense, if I remember correctly. (It was not a franchise or corporate type store, more of a mom and pop deal I think) The candles were of the “two-tone” variety, being red on the top and white on the bottom, but they were poured so that the colors slanted diagonally instead of making just a top and bottom layer. Also, if I remember correctly, the wax had something added to it that made it almost glitter. The particular scent I really enjoyed was called “Love”. I want to say that the candle company was out of California.

I’m posting this here hoping that someone knows the candle or scent I am talking about. I have searched extensively online and cannot find it or remember the right details that might lead me to it in a search. I’m hoping they still make it, as I would have bought the candles in late 1998.

I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone recognize this candle?

Is it a WicksWorks? They’re diagonally slanted and have a “Love” scent.

I’m not sure but it’s a start! Thanks for the link. I am going to see if I can get one and if it is the right scent, I will let you know.

Thanks again!

That was not the right candle but I appreciate your effort jayjay.

Bumping the thread hoping someone else might remember the candle I’m looking for.

Jaade, was it a normal wax, or something else, such as soy? That might also help.

I’ve never heard of anything like that, myself, but the little store I work in sells soy candles in all sorts interesting scents. We sell candles like these, which don’t fit your discription, but may jog a little more of your memory.

These candles are, I think, too recent to be the maker of your candle. But while you’re looking, you might see something else that catches your eye. (Or maybe I’m projecting…)
