I don’t have too much to go on except the hook. “Na na, nanana na na, Everybody everybody everybody gotta be free.” There’s a funky beat and the singer has a rough voice reminiscent of Edwin Starr or Rufus Thomas. Definitely not a white guy. Probably from the late sixties or early seventies.
Song’s been in my head for 2 months now and I’ve tried googling, and lyric websites and all I come up with are ditty bop white groups. I want me some soul!
