Looking for a specific video involving Muppets, Sesame Street.

I’ve seen this once in my entire life:

A short show, commercial style, about Sesame Street. It was produced prior to the first broadcast of SS, so pre-November 1969. It showed a bunch of Muppets in business clothes discussing a new educational show for kids. They are trying to come up with a name for the show.

One of the Muppets says: {to the effect of] “The show is for kids that can’t read or write?”

Then suggest the show be called “HEY, STUPID!”.

It’s funny. This has to be somewhere on the web.

I’m also looking for non-Sesame Street/Muppet Show videos of Muppets like Rowlf and such being used in old 50’s/60’s commercials.

Any help is appreciated.

Google Search-Wilkins Coffee Muppets

Second version of the pitch-How Sesame Street got it’s name.

Thanks!

Thanks. Excellent video(s). Could you imagine a commercial today using a handgun to shoot even a fictional character?

Man, Kermit’s voice just sounds…off in that pitch video. Wondered if maybe Henson had given Kermit to someone else while he did Rowlf, but…nope, looked it up and he did both voices (Oz did the puppeteering for Rowlf).

Guess Kermit’s voice just evolved a whole lot more than Rowlf’s did. (Which, I suppose makes perfect sense, since Rowlf’s closer to Henson’s natural voice.)

That’s some funny stuff.
I love you tube.

Did that pitch take place before or after Sesame Street was already established? Because it’s a lot funnier when you already know what Sesame Street already is…

Before. It really was a pitch reel, trying to sell the show to the proto-PBS.

Ah, okay. Guess it’s just one of those things that’s pretty awesome to see in retrospect.

Also, the “Hey Stupid” thing made me giggle more than I’d like to admit!
