What you will receive: Design of a business card, letterhead, flyer, advertisement, trifold brochure, and a hypertext document.
What I need from you: I need a “client” who is able to provide information about themselves, their company, budget information, and any design preferences. If a company logo exists, I will need that to be provided. If a logo does not exist, I will design one based on your direction. You will need to be available to respond to at least one email a week over the next 12 weeks. Access to PageMaker 6.0 or higher is a plus, but you will need to at least have Acrobat Reader.
About Me: I am a senior in college majoring in English with a minor in Technical Writing. I am currently taking a project course called “Writing and Designing Computer-Based Documents.” I will be creating the documents in PageMaker 6.5 and 7.0. I am not a graphics design student and am only beginning to learn Photoshop.
I do not mind designing these documents using a false information if you are not comfortable providing your real name and contact information. I will send the original files so that you can alter them later.
I would really like to work with someone who could use the documents I will be designing. It will be great practice for me to work with a client and will keep me from making up answers to the questions I need to address while designing such as the budget. Of course, you don’t have to take any of this to the printers, but I will design them to fit your budget. I only have time to design for one client…please let there be one person who can help!
