It is similar to www.alexa.com in that it gives graphical results, but instead of graphing website traffic, it measures the use of a given word or phrase on the web. It came up a while back in the Bush Administration as a way of watching the development of a talking point. I was directed to it once to see the growth of either “war on terror” or “stay the course”.

Anyone know of it?

That is helpful, but it tracks searches rather than usage, so it’s not the one that I’m thinking of.

It does give me the kind of result I was expecting, though.
