I’ve got a filing cabinet; one of those kind where its not a drawer, but just the railings along the side for hanging file folders to hang on, and nothing on the bottom, and you can stick your hand straight through.
Okay? Now, what I want is a drawer, not a hanging-file-holder.
Someone, somewhere has to make some sort of box or platform that will hang from the hanger part and be a drawer that I can put big-clunky objects in. But I can’t find it.
Clues?
I think you need a big one of these.
Well, if that’s the best I can get, yeah. But I’m hoping someone somewhere makes something more solid; a paper holder won’t hold heavy books, for example, which is what I want to put in there.
How about taking some measurements off the file ‘drawer’ and having a metal fabricator make a drop-in drawer out of sheet metal?
Well, my last resort option was going to be to do that, only with wood. not metal (it’s a wooden cabinet).
Looks like that may have to do.
