I’m looking for a clip of the Daily Show where Jon Stewart makes fun of a clip of the Half Hour News Hour… I heard it was funny but I can’t find ANYTHING on youtube (what search terms wouldn’t be too vague?).

Did Stewart even bother to acknowledge the existence of The Half-Hour News Hour? News to me.
Lewis Black did a bit making fun of News Hour on the Daily Show. It was pretty good.
From memory: “How dare they steal the same gimmick we stole!” and “wait, if Fox news has a fake news show, wouldn’t it just have…real news?”
Don’t recall Stewart ever mentioning the show though.

I recall the latter having a crucial extra word, along the lines of “So, if Fox is making a fake fake news show, won’t it just have…real news?”
Yes, he did mention it in one of his shows… I heard about it from a few people…
I guess he showed a clip and just stared at the camera speachless… then went “What?” or something like that… Just wanted to see it if it was out there.
I don’t recall Stewart ever mentioning it. If he did so, he probably did it only in passing.
You might be able to find something on Comedy Central’s archive of clips from the show. It’s pretty close to complete.
