I want to get myself a book on Burce Springsteen to read over the holidays.
Any suggestions?

I understand the one by Dave Marsh is quite good, Born to Run. Didn’t read it, but I did read Down Thunder Road: The Making of Bruce Springsteen years ago, which was co-written with Mike Appel, his manager from the early days. Very illuminating, if not always sympathetic view of Bruce. (But then, Appel’s always been under fire for being a weasel himself.) Fascinating reading, though.
