Looking for info - Canadian animated short film

I’m trying to find some info on an animated short film I frequently saw as a filler on Canadian TV 20-odd years ago. It was a flowing semi-abstract animation style with vignettes of Canadian history alternating with drumming-themed bits, all to a soundtrack of aboriginal sounding drumming. It’s the sort of short animated film the National Film Board puts out, but I can’t find anything in their current online catalogue which even vaguely resembles it. Googling also turns up nothing in the first several hundred hits.

Anyone out there who might remember this and be able to help?

I know the short you’re talking about. I’m sure it’s one of the NFBs Canada Vignettes series, but I haven’t been able to find it yet.

I know exactly the one you are talking about. I am looking to see if I can find the vignette.

Found it! I think…

Google: Canada Vignettes: Dance

That’s the one! Funny, my memory of it had more emphasis on the drumming, but it’s not really a large part of the film. Thanks, Poysyn!
