Does anyone know how I can find out about local (ie small, volunteer-based) SAR and/or K9 teams which are helping out with Katrina? Specifically looking for organizations which might need funding assistance - I know some of these groups end up paying for expenses out of pocket and I’d like to hook them up with a funder.
