Remember when you were a kid looking at a Bic pen and imagining it being a spaceship and the cap was like the detachable command module?
Around 1977 National Lampoon did a perfect rendering of this in their magazine. IIRC, and it’s entirely possible that I don’t RC, it was in the style of a blueprint. It was incredible.
I found a description (hey, why don’t I just buy the damn thing for $3500) but does anybody know where I can find an image? Searching the artist Alan Rose didn’t turn up anything (yet).
