I have a decent USB headset with passive noise cancellation. The only problem is I cannot hear my own voice when I talk, and that’s just disconcerting for me.
I have tried a software solution to hear my own voice but there is a latency to it which is just as disconcerting.
I have seen podcasts where they noted that they could hear their own voice in their headphones. However, they were using a separate studio mic, and I would like a noise cancelling microphone integrated with the headset. I also don’t know if that was hooked into a computer or audio equipment.
So I need:
- Noise cancelling headphones (passive is fine, additional active preferred).
- Integrated noise cancelling microphone.
- Great sound
- Imperceptible latency ability to hear your own voice.
- Works with computer (will be used for gaming).
- Wired (no Bluetooth). USB preferred but 3.5mm is acceptable if USB solution doesn’t exist.
- Preferably $200 or less.
Please give me suggestions, if you know the industry keywords and high certainty it will work, that’s fine, but if you have this setup yourself, I’d really like that.
