Back in 1994, during the first incarnation of Games Magazine, there was a December 1994 Pyramid puzzle where you had 10 dominoes with Egyptian symbols, and you were to put them into a pyramid without repeating the same symbol more than twice in a row. Anyone have old Games Magazines that might show the solution, or know the puzzle I’m referring to and a tip to solve it? I would guess the solution was probably published in the Jan or Feb 1995 issue of the magazine.
Never heard of it, but is it a manifestation of the four-color theorum?
IIRC, the solutions were always published in the same issue.
Sorry, it was no more than once in a row, not twice. Also, it was a “contest”, so I don’t think the solution would have been in the same issue.
