Looking for Song Title

Does anyone know the title of the 70’s tune on the newest Kellogg’s commercial, or the artist who sang it? I don’t know much about it except that the beginning words are “Hello my love…” and it’s the latest commercial, where they are pouring milk into a bowl of cereal that’s covered with strawberries.

Anyone? Thanks.

Sad to say I am familiar with many 70’s songs…although I haven’t seen the commercial. Anyone know where I can download a snippet? (So maybe my word choice should be altered). AAR, If anyone could tell me, that would be great.

Hmm, not sure. It’s not a very remarkable commercial…just the usual cornflakes. So I doubt that it’s going to be on any adcritic.com type websites. You’ll probably recognize it as soon as you hear it. It was one of the few that kind of stood out during the time period, since much of the late 70’s music sucked. It was easy to notice the few good songs that came out now and then.

Song-identification threads usually do best in Cafe Society, so I’ll move this thead over there.

Don’t hesitate to ring them up!!

This is part of my job at the firm I work for – I answer lots of random questions about our advertising, and if I don’t know the answer – I know who will.

I couldn’t locate the telephone number on the Kellogs.com site - you’d have to call 411. But they do have email & I suspect they’d reply within a day.

Never hesitate to call a company about this stuff. 8 times out of 10, they’ll be thrilled you’re even watching their ads.

Let us know the song!!

ps… I’ve been waiting to use one of these… So, here goes:

Hmm, I haven’t seen or heard the commercial, but from your description the song couldn’t be anything but Strawberry Letter #23 by the Brothers Johnson.

“I don’t know.”
“I still don’t know.”

Thank you so much! That’s exactly the song I was looking for!

An explanation for the odd song title of “Strawberry Letter #23” – the song’s writer had gotten a love letter from his girlfriend, which she labeled “Strawberry Letter #22”. The song was his reply.
