When I was in Bremerton in the early '80s there was a health nut/stuntman who called himself “Captain America” (I think). He wore a star-spangled uniform, and among his stunts was a swim across the bay to perhaps Port Orchard or something. Any info available?

Maybe, but I can’t find that any of his stunts involved endurance swimming, or dressing as Captain America. I think the person I am talking about was more a “Jack Lalanne” type of health nut.
