I need help finding a decent mini home system(double cassette, 3 to 5 cd changer, am and fm) that includes a turntable, either built in or as a separate component(prefered).
I would make a WAG Unless you are going to Ebay it for an older systems virtually every integrated mini system out there is going to be tape and CD only. The key is that most rear inputs on mini systems are high level inputs and good mag cartridge turntables are usually low output and require impedance and level compatible “phono in” jacks. Check that the mini sytem you are considering actually has rear inputs as some do not. IIRC there are some higher end mini-systems that have magnetic phono inputs included.

If you can’t find a mini system witha phono input the easiest thing to do would be to get a phono preamp that would let you use a outboard turntable into the high level “aux in” jacks on the back of most mini systems.
You can also get some nice mini component pieces (downsized receiver-speakers etc) that would also solve your problem. This would be quite a bit more expensive but the sound would be better.
