So I made a little mistake in the order of booking for my trip to Amsterdam in a few weeks, and it turns out the youth hostel fills up real quick when a couple hundred people show up from out of town. Nuts. What sites should I be using to find other options (preferably below 100€ for the weekend)? I’m currently perusing Airbnb.de and CouchSurfing, but so far no dice.
Tripadvisor is always the most useful for this kind of search.
The problem with that is that I’m really trying not to break the bank. Everything there is over 100€. That’s why I’m not looking on sites explicitly for hotels and whatnot. There’s a hotel right next to the venue with vacancies; it’s like 120€ a night. I’m trying to avoid that option. 
I see plenty of options on hostels.com and hostelworld. Is there something specific you are looking for?
Hostels.com seems to be more or less what I’m looking for. There’s a lot of options there reasonably close to where I am. Thank you! 
Anyone with further suggestions, though, keep 'em coming - the more options I have, the better off I am.
