Loonie Tunes and merrie Melodies

By the late 1940s, at least, I believe the WB cartoon series had merged, and were labeled “Loonie Tunes and Merrie Melodies.” Unfortunately, both the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon have other cartoons on at the moment, so I can’t verify this.

But I did spend a LOT of Saturday afternoons at the kiddie matinees.
